My baby girl's smile

My sweet Abigail. Her new smile makes me want to laugh and cry. She is too young and sweet to be missing a tooth and have metal in her mouth. I can't help but look at it when she smiles. Her back tooth has a metal band around it and a metal spacer where the missing tooth is so her teeth don't crowd the hole, and her face is still healing from where she scratched it when numb. I know it could be worse a lot of kids knock out their front teeth and her new tooth will come in after a few years. And most of all her smile still lights up a room and warms my heart.

Her eyes look dark but when you really look at them they are kind of dark blue grey, this eye has a green spot middle bottom. I always seem to notice it.

Job with a view. One of the perks of working evenings in a lab with lots of windows that face west is watching the sun set over Seattle. Pretty every night.
