White Thanksgiving

It snowed before Thanksgiving so Cate got to go outside and enjoy her first time in the snow.

The kids built a snowman with Papa.

Love these kids, and look they can get along!

Can't wait to see everyone again at Christmas!

I had a busy Thanksgiving since I had to work but still had time to enjoy being with family. I am so thankful we have such a wonderful family that is kind and happy, everyone gets along, and everyone likes each other. It is a blessing. I am thankful my kids have so much love for their grandpas and grandma and aren't shy about showing it. Melts my heart. I'm thankful that Brad and I truly love each other. I'm also thankful I got to follow the journeys of Holly Weller and Kelly Miller this year, both of them losing their battles way too young leaving behind kids and family. They were thankful for everything all the way up to the end. If they can, I can. So I'm thankful for every second of this life.

Now time for holiday decorating! My favorite time of year!!!! :) :) :)

Too old to bathe together?

Never. But seriously almost.

We had a great weekend at Papa's hanging out with cousin Evie. We adore cousin Evie, wish we could see her more!

We are looking forward to Thanksgiving with family and Apple Cup. Go cougs! We are thankful for our new house and to be able to spend the holidays with the people we love. We are so very blessed.

The no good very bad day

I try not to be too much of a whiner, but wow today sucked. First off migrane, then my phone quit working for no apparent reason (completely dead) and my hair dryer died for no apparent reason. Then some roofing/siding blew off our house in gale force winds. After that, I took Cate to the urgent care for a nasty cough and found out she has an ear infection. Meanwhile Brad came home to fix the parts of the house that blew off and his drill fell off the top of the ladder and landed drill bit down on the top of his foot. So then Brad went to urgent care, they couldn't do stitches on the top of his foot because the skin is too thin but he did break a bone and has an imprint of the drill bit in his bone, OUCH! All this caused me to be late for work. But the icing on the cake is that the power went out all over town from the wind so we couldn't pick up Cate's antibiotics because everything was closed, and Brad got to take care of 2 kids and a sick baby all night by himself with a boot on his foot and crutches. Good news? Tomorrow will be better!

In our house this is the truth, we won't be done potty training until they are adults!

Frozen on Ice

The kids had lots of fun at Frozen on Ice. Ben was super into it and Abi sang along. They had a great time! :)

Loving fall and these precious kiddos

Lucky for us all our leaves blow away so we have to enjoy them while we can.

Ben was killing me with cuteness

The many faces of Cate 14 months. How can this face not make you smile? #toehead.ears.thecutestsquishface

Halloween

Abi's school Halloween costume, she didn't want to get her princess dress dirty and she makes a cute ballerina.

Ben got to wear his costume to school too.

Trick or treating costumes

Every girl has to have a princess moment, and ninja turtle Ben.
 Our sweet little bee Cate

Trick or treating was a little crazy this year, we went with a group of almost thirty kids and it was near impossible to keep track of everyone. The kids had a blast though and got tons of candy.
