Who does Cate look like?

I was terrified of having a third baby, but I now I couldn't imagine life without this cute diaper bottom (see picture). Love the padded, lumpy diaper bottom. Baby time is so short and we are blessed to get to experience it all again. She fits right in with rest of us crazys. If she's like the rest of us she'll think toots are funny before she can talk, she'll sweat and drool in her sleep, and throw wild temper tantrums (if hungry or tired).

Comparing 4 month stats-

Abi 17lbs 2.5 oz, 25.75"long

Ben 16lbs 9oz,  25.5" long

Cate 15lbs, 25.5" long

They keep getting lighter!

What color are Cate's eyes going to be?

Ben is on the left, Cate on the right. I think Cate looks a lot like him.

Although I swear when I look at Cate I'm looking right at Abi when she was a baby, so much so that it's a little spooky sometimes. Different color eyes and Abi has bigger cheeks and more hair but still similar many ways (Abi on LEFT, Cate on RIGHT).

This old picture is so gosh darn adorable I can barely stand it.

The Science Of Simplicity: Why Successful People Wear The Same Thing Every Day

http://elitedaily.com/money/science-simplicity-successful-people-wear-thing-every-day/849141/

Love this article, it explains so much. Like why I wear jeans and a hoodie everyday, or the exact same thing multiple days in a row, my mom uniform, all because I have so many other things to make decisions about and I am a very important decision maker :) :) I dig my mom uniform.

Coffee all day, wine all night

I typically spend the whole day trying to wake up. I NEED coffee so I don't feel like I'm dragging myself through life (slumped shoulders, limbs like noodles). Lack of sleep has been killing me lately. When I finally start feeling awake it's time to go to bed so wine, melatonin and bed. Repeat.

My favorite things last week (as seen through my tired blood shot eyes and foggy brain)-
Cate loving her bouncer from Aunt Sarah

My fancy chalkboard attempt, pretty ok? right?

Going through 12 month clothes from my sister (yes 12 month clothes for my 5 month old) and was over joyed to find a coat my mom bought for Abi and a dress Nana gave Abi, and many other cute things that remind me of Abi being a baby. I'm not a stuff person, so I don't keep a lot of things but it was precious to stumble upon these reminders of people we miss so much.

My favorite bald heads (Dr. evil and mini-me)

This face, makes it all worth it

Not sure about this mum mum, mom.

My birthday was yesterday and I had a perfect day of sleeping in and going to the gym. Yes, doesn't take much to make my day great. Mostly just getting sleep makes life a whole lot better. I got a fit bit from Brad and I'm super excited to boast about how many steps I take everyday. Now when I can say I'm tired I have hard facts to prove it. Today for example I've walked almost 5.5 miles, walked up 32 flights of stairs (without going to the gym) and the day isn't over yet, sooooooo I think it's your turn to change baby's diaper while I rest. See how awesome this will be? It also logs how much you sleep, which will be depressing but can also be used as leverage. I think Brad is rethinking his gift, ha :) :)

My sleeping sweeties, they are the sweetest when they sleep ;)

Family, cousins, tractor rides, and football

Just a typical weekend at Papa's! I envisioned hours of crying and suffering in the 5+ hour car ride but everyone was awesome and Cate was an angel. Loved spending time with my sis and cousins :-)

Ben and Evie are best buds

Abi and Gracie, didn't want the weekend to end.

Papa and Cate bear, her first time to Papa's.

Evie and baby Cate

Sister got to meet Cate

Craziest football game I have ever watched, as Brad would say "it was epic".

Baby bear had her 5 month birthday

Hitting the slopes

We had low expectations taking the kids skiing for the first time it was mostly a feeler trip to see if they liked it but they did awesome. They begged us to ride the chair lift so we did. The first trip up Ben refused to let go of the chair at the top so they had to emergency stop the chair lift and get him down. Second time he was a champ. Abi just wanted to ski by herself without me helping her.

Hot chocolate break

It was a perfect day on the mountain, fresh powder and sun.

It would have been all around the perfect day, until the diarrhea explosion in the car on the way home....
But that's our life and I wouldn't change it for anything.

Holiday hangover

So dreary and boring once the holidays over, the house is bare, and everyone has gone home. And still sad over Holly and Kelly. So trying to remember all the things make me happy. There were lots this weekend :)
These two-
Selfie with Cate (she's happy even when she's sick)

Date night, dinner and a movie (it's been forever!)

Lots of snow, got at least 6 inches yesterday, and school was on time today-what???

These dudes building a snow ramp to sled down.

Snow fort in the making. The kids really wanted to make a snowman but the snow was so dry you couldn't even make a snow ball. Made for easy shoveling though.

Brad's meat, in the smoker. Found this picture on my camera, lol.

Snow makes everything pretty and bright. Wish it could stay for longer.
