One of Brad's fraternity friends from college (the Hoffmans) just had a micro preemie at 28 weeks. Their story is super sweet if you are up for some reading and praying for the best possible outcome. Caution-kind of a tear jerker. I'm kind of obsessed with checking their blog to see baby's progress.

Fun hangover

My house is clean and perfect and back to normal just the way I like it. But it's quiet, too quiet. I wish it was still full of people and friends just like it had been for the past few days. Messy and dirty but happy. I wish friends could come and never leave and the fun would never stop.

Mother's Day

Mother's Day is an interesting day for me. Mostly I like to pretend it's not really a day since I don't have a mom to celebrate with. I might be a little bitter about that deep down. Since I usually try my best to ignore the day in general I sometimes forget I still can remember my mom and all the great moms in my life. I usually try to see the glass half full but Mother's Day is my glass half empty day, probably even tipped over and spilling on the floor day. I guess I need make an effort to turn that around and do something happy to remember my mom. It should be a happy day to appreciate all the wonderful moms I know.
Brad and kids were super sweet year with colorings, drawings, home made cards, cute gifts made at school, and some sweet cowboy boots from the hubby. I got cards and wine from the family. So thanks everyone for thinking of me, when all I was doing was going about a normal day thinking of nothing. I hope all the Mom's in my life had a wonderful day! :)

How deep and how wide is a mother's love?

Endless and immeasurable.

Grammy, thanks for helping us and spending time with us, we'll miss you! Hope you had a good Mother's Day!
