Feels like summer (lake and aquarium)

Mid 80's on Saturday, high 80's on Sunday (felt like 90) in Orondo. Love the lake.

Swimming and digging, Maggie is smiling.

We sweat our bums off working at the lake this weekend, it was literally running down our arms and faces, but all the work is finally paying off! We took two loads of yard debris to the dump, and we brought one more home with us. We finished the rock wall, moved rocks, dug a sprinkler system, moved dirt, spread dirt, leveled dirt, raked out rocks, planted grass, trimmed trees, cut up wood, laid down yard fabric, and spread bark. Exhausting. Did I mention I was sick all weekend too. I've self-diagnosed myself with a sinus infection but it seems to be getting better (after a week and a half), I think the sun and dry air helped. Both Brad and I have cuts and scrapes from cutting up and loading shrubs in the truck, and are super sore (again) from moving rocks and raking and shoveling. The kids had a good time digging in the dirt and playing in the sun. This will be the last time we are there in the dirt, next time we'll have grass and thick gravel, no more dirt!

Rock wall complete.

Grow grass grow!

Rock border/pile up by the road

Started trimming some trees to get more view, lots more to trim.

Today we went to the Seattle Aquarium with preschool. It was a really nice day to be on the waterfront, although the kids were kind of tired from the weekend and didn't want any pictures.

They got to touch all kinds of sea creatures.

With their buddies Jada and Jackson.

This is the jelly fish tank (it made a big circle you walk through) and you can see them under your feet too. Abi and Ben loved the big tropical tank with lots of giant colorful fish. I loved the seahorses, octopus, and seals.
