The good stuff

Somewhere between driving me crazy, asking for snacks, and giving sweet cuddles these darn kids decided to grow up. Abi is a totally different kid than before she started Kindergarten, she has confidence, is not nearly as shy, and loves learning. Every night I can find her in room when she should be sleeping writing sentences, writing numbers 1-100, or reading. She begs to do homework. She laughs all the time and it is the best laugh ever. I love finding love letters in her back pack or other kids phone numbers (that I'm supposed to call) for play dates. Between school and work and the rest of crazy life I try to look at her everyday and remember how wonderful she is and how much I love her.

Will this kid stop growing just for a minute? When did my roll-y poll-y baby boy attached to my hip decide to get tall skinny and be a little boy instead of a toddler? He may be my high maintenance kid but he is a lover and a sweetheart. He will always melt my heart and crack me up at the same time. If he had his choice he would be with me every second of every day and how can I not love that? I cherish looking into his big green eyes every day and telling him how much I love him. (Thank goodness for just long enough shirts!)

My two favorite peeps in the universe! Nothing makes me happier than this picture :)
