Love letters

It is no longer Valentine's Day and I'm still finding love letters in Abi's backpack. When I asked her about Jaidon she laughed and said he loves her and he asks her to chase him at recess. Can't believe how young they start these days, I don't remember receiving love letters in Kindergarten......

Just about a week ago it was 50 degrees, sunny and Ben was hanging out the sun roof waiting for sis to get out of school, and they today-

Artic storm. In the past day and half we got about 6 inches.

We had an awesome week with Grandma Vicki last week and went to see the Lego movie. "Every is Awesome" is the theme song in the movie and the kids have been singing it all week, cracks me up. Abi had two birthday parties this weekend and since I had to work Saturday Brad braved Chunk E Cheese all by himself with both kids. Of course they loved it there, what kids don't? It's the parents that suffer.

Ben and I have been under the weather again. Being sick, pregnant, working full time, and taking care of two kids has to be enough to break anyone. Not looking for sympathy just wishing I had the one person who was always around, who knows how hard it can be, who knows me better than anyone to tell me it will be ok. Something has felt like it was missing lately, a connection that kept me going when things got tough. I have so much to be grateful for and Brad is a great solider husband fighting the good fight right next to me, picking up my slack, keeping me going, and loving me. I just need a phone line to heaven to be able to say "Mom, this sucks!" and have her say "I know".
