Zoo day

It was a beautiful day at the zoo, the sun was out and nothing makes me happier than seeing Abi and Jada running around holding hands giggling. All four of them were playing and running in the trees so the mom's got to have a nice time talking and sitting in the sun. There were four new adorable baby lion cubs, the baby snow leopards from last summer are all grown up (almost), and apparently the jaguar is knocked up (exciting). I packed my camera of course (because we aren't allowed to have undocumented fun) but I realized after we got there that it didn't have a battery in it so these pictures are from my phone. We didn't stay too long because everyone got tired and it was crowded (spring break) so we'll have to go back again soon.

My Craig's list good karma continues. I wanted to get a kiddie pool for the lake property and I wanted one exactly like the one our family that lives down the river from us have. It is hard sided (very sturdy) and can comfortably fit three adults to lounge, not super deep but the kids can swim around a little. Abi had a blast in it last summer over there, but Step2 no longer makes them. So I got on Craig's list and I found the exact pool I wanted listed that day by someone in downtown Bellevue, close to Brad's work, for $60. SOLD! Picked it up today. I can only hope my good Craig's karma continues :) :) :)
