What's up

A lot of work and not a lot of play going on around here lately. The husband took his final couple tests to complete his Purchasing Manager Certificate, YAY! He worked really hard and was one of the first people in his department to complete it. I have been working a ton of extra days, which has been exhausting and drama filled. On one hand I am thankful for my job and on the other it is driving me crazy. I do not thrive surrounded by negativity. Sometimes it is almost impossible to be thankful, but I am thankful that I like the work I do and that I'm helping patients. The kids are good, besides fighting colds and teething. I adore and love um to pieces one minute and the next bed time can not come quick enough. Ben says a new word everyday and Abi and Ben have become as thick as thieves. I am looking forward to next week and the holiday so our family can actually be together for multiple days in a row, this single parenting while the other one is at work does wear you down. I have a feeling this is going to be really fun holiday season for the kids. Abi wants to write a letter to Santa and I think we'll do the shelf elf and go see the Zoo Lights. I'm excited to decorate for the holidays, have family time, listen to Christmas music, Christmas shop, see the kids in cute holiday clothes, receive Christmas cards, drink an extra glass of wine, and snuggle with the husband on cold nights. December, bring it on!
