Thanksgiving travels (finally)

We spent our Thanksgiving camping in our trailer in Pullman. The drive over was entertaining because the wind was blowing giant tumble weed across the road and we could see them coming from far away so we'd try to guess whether or not we were going to hit them. We saw a tumble weed that was taller than a car, made me giggle. How big would a tumble weed have to be to hit the breaks for? We saw lots of cars with tumble road kill stuck to the grill. Who doesn't love tumble weed? The kids were really well behaved all weekend, it was me that almost lost it the nine-hundredth time I was searching for the kids gloves, socks, or hat to go back outside. It was not my weekend for having patience looking everywhere for everything. Our tailgate turkey turned out great and we had lots of fun around the camp fire. It was nice to be displaced for this first big holiday without my mom. I was busy and distracted and didn't even have time to think about it. And for the football game, Apple Cup was awesome. I haven't been to such an entertaining game in years. The kids sat through the whole game and were angels except when Abi informed me she had to poop with 2 minutes left on the game clock and a tide score. I was wiping her behind in the bathroom when the game ended and went into overtime. It brings me much joy for my Cougs to win. It makes me think the underdog does come out on top sometimes, if you work hard enough you can win. It's something along those lines anyway that makes me feel good. Win or lose the Cougs will always have more heart, more soul, more love. That's just the way it is.

Fun with Hilie

I officially froze my ass off. I am still cold, I think it will take weeks to recover. Lesson learned- you can NEVER pack too many warm clothes.

Not sure what is going on in this picture but it cracks me up

What was a super fun weekend with family and friends for most of us was still hard for some of us. Sometimes life just doesn't work out the way you want matter what you do or how hard you try.
It's not fair. Everyone has something that is their own struggle, that is meant just for them, not sure why........ Hopefully to make us stronger and teach us something.

Favorite ending to good holiday weekend
