Papa Marc's farm

The kids and I went and stayed with Papa in Washougal for 5 days to visit and help clean and weed. I didn't end up doing as much cleaning as weeding. I spent hours everyday weeding and made good progress in my Mom's flower beds. Almost looks as good as she would have it. For some reason it was a hard week, we were sad and there were tears. It just seems so wrong that she's not here with us. On Saturday one of my Mom's friends Rose had a Celebration of Life party in my Mom's honor. It was hard but good, I cried like I did getting ready for the funeral. The kids had fun and I think my Dad really enjoyed having us.

Aren't my Dad's cows cute? We went and visited the neighbors horses and peacocks too.

Once the kids found the berry patch I couldn't keep them away.

All she wanted to do was play on the tractor.

Beacon Rock hike

I knew this trail wasn't kid friendly and if we had the baby backpack it would have been fine but my heart couldn't take it and we had to abort mission half way up the rock.

We found different kid friendly trails.
