If you need a smile

Everyday these kids give me something to smile about.

Miss Smarty pants ready for school.

Mr. Personality ready to be silly.

Miss Sweetheart ready for bath time.

Master bedroom fixer-upper

Before

After
It literally took me forever to sand down our bed frame to raw wood. Probably 8 hours or so sanding time. I thought I wasn't going to make it to the end of this project. I have to say it was worth it, to be able to re-purpose something I didn't like to something I do like :)

I got new night stands at Home Goods for $50 each, not bad. I like that they look kind of old.
It was about time since we'd had our other night stands since college from Ikea.

I sewed a cover for our ugly red pleather chair from a white curtain I got on clearance at Target and we moved our desk into the corner.

I disliked our old abstract art but didn't want to spend any money so I repainted it with paint I found in the garage.

I'm happy with the way it all turned out!

Crazy hair, crazy Ben, snow, poop?

Everyday is crazy Ben day.
Snow, snow go away, come again another day.
Cate wants to jump on the trampoline!
Poor little has an ear/sinus infection :/
This is a legit chart we have hanging in our kitchen.
We dream of the days when poop doesn't rule our lives.
Cate is winning, lol!

First dentist apt and potty training

No cavities! and they did great so treats for everyone.
We are potty training! Luckily she does not like her "scratchy" diapers anymore and occasionally refuses to wear them.

My favoritest person #loves

Kindergarten mystery reader #daddy

Cousin Annie, Gavin, Eli, and baby Wyatt were in town visiting for the weekend. It was a Polaroid,  jello shot, basketball, beer pong, hanging out, whiskey drinking, pizza eating, slumber jam kind of weekend. The best!
Baby Wyatt
Ben and Eli were best buds.
I think the kids had the most fun with the camera.
My favorite ladies
We ended the weekend with some ice skating, my kids are obsessed.

Kiddos looking cute

And being silly

Hot pool time (this pic cracks me up)

It's Christmas in February! Lucky.

Cate being cute

Dance party, one of many dance parties with Ben's new boom box.

When papa falls asleep and kids are still awake,
pile animals and blankies on then giggle till he wakes up.

Ice skating

Auntie Sarah and cousin Evie

The littlest skater, not to be left out.

She's a natural, the kids loved it.

Cate was kind of a noodle.

Wild man Ben took a couple spills.

Papa time=fun time
Already can't wait to see everyone again :)

And we picked up our new boat! Ready for summer, if only the snow will ever melt.
