 It literally took me forever to sand down our bed frame to raw wood. Probably 8 hours or so sanding time. I thought I wasn't going to make it to the end of this project. I have to say it was worth it, to be able to re-purpose something I didn't like to something I do like :)

I got new night stands at Home Goods for $50 each, not bad. I like that they look kind of old.

It was about time since we'd had our other night stands since college from Ikea.

I sewed a cover for our ugly red pleather chair from a white curtain I got on clearance at Target and we moved our desk into the corner.  

I disliked our old abstract art but didn't want to spend any money so I repainted it with paint I found in the garage. 

I'm happy with the way it all turned out!
