High tolerance for annoying things

I have noticed lately that I have acquired a high tolerance for annoying things. Mostly whining, crying children but also the dog licking, scratching, barking, stains, dirt, ruined stuff. Also, add getting woken up by kids crying in my ear early in the morning after a late work night and five hours of sleep. I wasn't always this way, I have been beaten into submission by my sweet children, or maybe it's a survival mechanism. I no longer care when two steps into Target they start screaming about which cart they want and where they want to sit, I expect it and expect it to continue the whole trip. Grocery store, mall, home, no where is off limits for tantrums and fits. Even at work I find myself calmly finishing a task while tubes drop and alarms and timers are going off around me and others are scrambling to turn them off. I'm actually kind of proud of my new found tolerance, otherwise I might be in the loony bin.
