Brad has a new job with Puget Sound Energy! He is very excited as it is a new opportunity for him that will help him further his career. It is located out of Bellevue so a shorter commute, but more traffic. He starts Dec. 27th, yikes! We must go clothes shopping, his current wardrobe of skater shoes and jeans will not do :)
Abi is learning about baby Jesus at preschool and the other day she came home from school and asked me, "When is baby Jesus birthday?" I said, "Christmas Day", she said, "Does cousin Evie have a birthday?", I said, "Yes", then she said, " Is cousin Evie baby Jesus?" -so cute and sweet I couldn't help but laugh. Something so sweet and innocent about children this time of year, believing in Santa and learning about baby Jesus. I love hearing Abi sing Christmas songs-Jingle Bells is her favorite, so I'm relearning to play it on the piano.
Looking forward to spending time with family this holiday season and trying to get away from some of the crazy, busy of everyday. Also looking forward to making our first real fire in the fireplace, listening to Christmas music, and of course a hot buttered rum.

I wish I had taken a few more pictures at our friend holiday party. Glen made a great elf and Ryan was another good Santa. The Santa dance off made me laugh so hard I almost peed my pants. Here is a link to the video, not sure if it works :)
