to find him standing looking over the rail at me. He gave me a huge smile like he was so proud of himself. Not that I haven't seen him pull himself up on the edge of the bath tub and other shorter furniture, but he hadn't pulled himself up on the couch yet so I was a little surprised. He'll be walking in no time, yikes! Just like sister, crawl for one month then straight to walking. His favorite place to hang out is on top of sisters trampoline. I can't keep him off of it, at least when he rolls off it is only a 6 inch fall. He also likes to fall asleep with the cornor of his blankie in his mouth, it is pretty cute!
Yesterday Abi had a dreaded dentist apt which 6 months ago ended in kicking and screaming but I was pleasantly surprised that she was perfect. When I least expect it she can amaze me! Maybe we are turning a cornor? The only speed bump was we got back to the room and the assistant tells me that our dentist moved away so we are seeing another dentist today, my first question was "Is the doctor a she?" and she was-thank god! And we even like her better the other dentist. I think this dentist did a better job of examining her because she showed me how Abi's front top teeth and front bottom teeth hit each other, so she has to adjust her jaw to the left or right to close her teeth together (to chew). Therefore she'll need to get spacers between her upper teeth after she gets her next set of molars to adjust her bite. I always thought she had a crooked little smile. Her smile is so funny to me now, all your bottom teeth are supposed to sit behind your front teeth but she a bottom tooth or two that likes to try and sit in front and it kind of reminds of Maggie's teeth (our dog with an under bite) -which makes me laugh. Oh, braces to come I'm sure :)
