My awesome IT guy, my husband, figured out blogger for me! Yay. We hit the slopes 10 times this winter! Our season passes were totally worth it. The kids made huge leaps in skill level and Cate is a free bird. She can ski any green, and some blues. Abi can do challenging blues that are almost black diamonds with Dad and is so fast I can't keep up. Ben is somewhere between the two and gains confidence and skill every time. Pizza with a side of fries is Abi's skiing motto, Ben is "can I get a slow down" getting on the lift, Cate's is Costco pizza. This season has been challenging. It takes mental toughness to deal with all the meltdowns, and there was always meltdowns. My boot hurts, I'm hungry, I have to pee, I can't get my gear on, I cant carry my skis, tears and crashes, arguing about what run to do, where to sit in the car, snacks, you name it we survived it. And it was beyond worth it! I wouldn't change a thing or the quality time we spent together learning and challenging ourselves.
