The dog days of summer are over. I miss them already. The feeling of being free and the sunshine. In all honesty it was a stressful, busy summer of moving and settling into our new house. We didn't take any long vacations, only short choppy ones that went by too fast and didn't involve relaxing. But in the midst of chaos we still made time to enjoy the ride. Even though it often meant sacrificing sleep and productivity. I wouldn't change that. That was the time our family really spent together. Those are the times the kids will remember. Hanging at the pool with friends, eating burgers on boat, swimming at sunset, staying up late watching movies. We did a lot of good living this summer. Until next time summer, goodbye.
