I found the five ways running changes you and yes it totally applies!
-I’ve learned so much about patience, persistence, discipline, and practice. Hard work really does pay off, and I have proof. I thought it would never get easier, I would never get where I wanted to be, but I did!
-“Let it go” and be in the moment. For a worrier and planner like myself, it's my time to zone out.
-To believe in myself. Running is a good reminder to myself that I can accomplish anything I put my mind and heart into.
-It’s okay to brag! I still have a hard time with this, but my success is not someone else's failure.
-Be flexible. I do what I can when I can, and try to be easy on myself when I can't.
Running is also my time to enjoy the sun, the countryside, my music, and my me-time. In other words it's my happy time.
Working on my speed. Approaching 8 minute miles.
