"We may not have it all together, but together we have it all." ~Anonymous

Dad's first salmon of the season! Apparently the new fishing boat is working and he is the first one at the paper mill to catch a fish this year.

Abi and bear with headbands, and Ben photo bombing.

Gun show, such a solid little man.

Finally found something that will work to display kid art, a shutter.

Seems like a decent spot since our house is small, and then I can cover up one of the ugly electric covers on the wall.

I'm going to use old school clothes pins to hang the art and I know just where to get some.

Museum of flight

Pre-k field trip to the Museum of Flight

Ben, Abi, Jada, and Jackson walked around holding hands, cute.

I thought Ben would love the plane but he was scared to get inside.

Helping their little brothers

We watched a couple airplanes land from the control tower.

The kids got to attend an hour long kid oriented class about airplanes. They got to pretend they were airplanes, make airplanes, learn about airplanes, and sit in airplanes. Abi did great and had a great time, Ben not so much I had to take him out because he wouldn't stop screaming-which is very unlike him. I wasn't sure how much they would like the museum but overall they loved it and I thought it was interesting too. Abi's favorite airplane was an Air Force open air helicopter.

Flowers, mantel, tile

My branches are blooming, and Brad is allergic to them. He had a runny nose and head ache for almost a week before we figured it out. So I picked off all the dangle-y, pollen-y, yellow thingies and he seems to be better.

Pre mantel, equipment ready for drilling

Post mantel, it's hard to capture in a picture but it adds depth to the room and prime
decorating real estate.

It's made out of old reclaimed barn wood and was the best Craig's list find ever at $40 from a guy that specializes in reclaimed wood furniture.

Pre tiling project around the window, inspired by tile I found on the clearance rack at Lowe's. This is what happens when I innocently go to stock up on paint.

Post tiling, much prettier! I have a love hate relationship with tiling, but this was actually really easy.

A day in the life, for real

I'm at work and I get a text from Brad that there is chicken drama at home..... What does that mean? Well, apparently Ben let the chickens out and they were flapping and running around crazy in the yard, Maggie was chasing them running around crazy, Ben was running around crying, Abi was running around screaming and yelling at Maggie, so I think chicken drama about sums it up.

And this, sums up my privacy.

The cuteness factor is ridiculous when Ben gets excited because he sees a truck drive by the house, he gallops around clapping yelling "truck, truck!" Except sometimes it sound more like fruck without the r. When he sees a bus or garbage truck he is over the moon excited. Adorable.

The cutest thing I wish I could of seen is Evie at Yo Gabba Gabba Live. My sister said she went nuts dancing and clapping and giving spontaneous hugs because she was so happy. Nothing better, nothing.
