Iron kids race

The kids asked to do the Iron kids race again this year (even though Dad isn't doing Iron man). So we were happy to take them and their friend Gillian was happy to join them. Maybe next year Cate will run too :)

Strawberry solstice

Our newish tradition for the summer solstice is strawberry picking. The berries aren't huge, but they are super sweet. Since it was cloudy and kind of cold this year, it wasn't very crowded at the farm which was great.

We also got smart this year and brought our own box. The buckets they provide for picking are yucky.

 

School is out!

Cate completed her first year of school. She has grown a lot and is turning into a little smarty pants (like her big sis). She's so cute and sweet right now I just want to bottle her up and make her stop growing.

They may not look it but they are so excited and ready for summer.

We celebrated the last day of school by going to the pool and the Spokane Indians home opener.

Daddying

Happy Dad's day! To ten years of Daddying. We simply think you're the best. We love you and are so thankful for all you do. To the Papa's too, you guys are great! 

Werking

Trying to get a decent photo of me for a photography website I'm working on. Werking it. Me and my tripod. My goal this month was to take pictures for 1 person, other than my kids, and I think I'm going to meet my goal, yay. Next month 2. Maybe someday making money. Aiming low but not stopping. Got to start somewhere.

4th of July mini with my kids

My happy place, behind the camera, these cuties in front. Stepping outside my comfort zone this week to actually advertise photography, scary stuff. We'll see what happens.....
