Woodland Park Zoo

 We had a great Seattle weekend that included a trip to the zoo. It was the first time Cate was old enough to point and squeal when she saw an animal she liked. We liked the turtles, crocodiles, giraffes, gorillas, orangutans, meerkats, hippos, and bears.

Spring has sprung

Latest obsession is climbing in trees and we have lots.

Flowering plum? in the backyard by the shop. Purdy.

The property we have a pending sale on. 5 acres in the country out in the hills of the valley. Just waiting for the well inspection.

A baby from heaven

All my babies are angels sent from heaven to teach me about real love and patience and life. But when someone unexpected told me she thought Cate was a special angel sent from heaven by my mom I believed it. She helps fill the void in my heart, teaches me that life is hard but also oh-so-good. She's a blessing we never knew we needed. She brings the spice to our life, the crazy to the craziness, and the extra joy to top it off.

Finally made it to big rock, Cate was on my back so I don't have any pictures of us.

Had to get the kiddy pool out it was so nice to feel 80 degree weather! And eat popsicles.

We had several family and friend dinners. First home made potato salad and BBQed burgers of the season, yum! We had a great spring break.
