Cross country meet and pumpkin patch

Abi did so good in her last cross country meet! She ran so hard she got runners stomach. She had to run one mile in under 8 minutes to qualify for the final meet and she didn't quite make it, but was close. She came in fourth for 2nd grade girls from Greenacres Elementary. We are just so proud of her for trying something new, sticking it out, and being a really good little runner.

We went to the pumpkin patch with Ben's preschool today and had a lot of fun even though it was a drizzly day (very Seattle).

It's fall y'all!

Some random fall pictures, love the warm setting sun and fall colors. I've been wanting to take some outside pictures of the kids cause it's my happy place. At the new house there are lots of photo opts :) 

Um, can I say grown up. Abi seriously grew up this year, right in front of my eyes. If it wasn't for her jack-o-lantern smile I'd think she was a teenager, acts like one at times too ;)

We call her "Cake" or "Cakey" or my favorite "Cake and bake" a lot, because really it is pretty close to Cate. She's going to grow up thinking that's her name. She's been babbling up a storm lately and refuses to wear any kind of head band per usual.

Us girlies, fail, heart <3 anyway

Pictures don't have to be perfect. That's what I like best about these. They accurately reflect our life. We aren't posed, we don't match, the lightening isn't perfect, we just are who we are. Those are my favorite kind of pictures.
