Summer dresses! I'm a sucker for matching outfits. Can't wait for it to warm the heck up so we can have outside photo ops. (Dresses from Crazy 8 originally $24.99 on sale for $15 and I had a %20 off coupon, super awesomeness!)

Trying carrots for the first time, she was not impressed. I mixed them with rice cereal to try and make it more pleasant but she wasn't having it. She actually started gagging and since her gag reflect is super impressive (projectile vomit) I didn't push it.

She's our sweet little chub. Poor thing got four shots and barely cried. She loved looking at herself in the mirror.

What are we up to?

Valentine's Day cuties. Abi got a big white bear she named Vanilla and Ben got a big monkey he named Chocolate. 

This is where I find him all the time, apparently the stairs are a comfortable place to play his kindle.

I love his "I will never grow up" shirt, I hope he doesn't.

I have fond memories of these from my childhood, my kids love them too. The capsules melt in the bathtub and grow into dinosaurs or fish. Gotta love the Target dollar bins.

Bi-annual redecorating

Brad calls it my bi-annual redecorating but really it is more like my quarterly redecorating. It all started with needing a chair for the front room. Then I found an urn, lamp, candle holder, and pillow. I got everything at Tj Max my favorite store but we getting a Home Goods in the valley soon and I'm super excited! Brad not so much.

New picture and candle holder for our bedroom. Candle holder is crystal (on clearance rack) and is super heavy so I like to think it can double as a weapon if I'm home alone and hear something in the middle of the night, it has dual purpose.

Cate is 6 months old today

It is really hard to believe its been six months (half a year!) with this sweet baby girl. She belongs in our family, I could never imagine not having her. Abi and Ben adore her and love to hug and kiss her, and make her laugh. I guess we should move her to her own bedroom at some point..... or not. I think she is teething but she is so mild that she doesn't cry much. I love her little gummy smile. She's working hard on hair. That face I could just eat her up.

This picture cracks me up. Maggie wouldn't leave us alone and apparently really wanted to be in the picture with her cone of shame (dog photo bomber). Dogger- "I can't stop licking my behind, I have a hot spot, which is now an open sore because I can't control myself, I'm depressed". It will be interesting tonight when we are trying to sleep and Maggie is banging around trying to get through the doorway, running into things. Cate thought Maggie's cone was hilarious.

His teeth haven't fallen out yet or turned grey so have to take advantage.

Finally got around to posting our Super Bowl shenanigans. Before the game we made a grid and assigned everyone we were with numbers all the way through 100 and at the end of every quarter the sum of the scores was the number and the person assigned that number had to do something unpleasant. Like Jon had to run to the top of our yard without shoes on. 3rd quarter I had to do the robot in the middle of the street for 30 seconds, which is a long time to do the robot in the snow with cars driving by. At the end of the game your choice was take a shot of vodka with salmon dip in it or post "I love the Patriots" on FB, so of course that person took the shot. Fun times, until the last 2 minutes :(

-And about Ben's teeth. The dentist said the x-rays looked good and we hit the jack pot of tooth injuries. Meaning we got really lucky considering his front tooth got flipped all the way up breaking the gums open but didn't injure the socket or tooth, not sure if the root will survive and his tooth will probably turn grey but we'll have to wait and see. The tooth that got pushed up in his gums has moved back down and will hopefully heal up. No biting into to anything hard for a few weeks at least.

Poor buddy had an accident today, well more like a face plant, and now his front teeth are loose and the top one on the right next to middle teeth got pushed up in his gum. Thank goodness for technology, theses are the pictures I texted the dentist. Love our children's dentist, got a hold of him within minutes and wants me to call back if anything changes at any hour. Going in for x-Rays tomorrow. Might have been more traumatic for us then him. Hopefully they heal back up.

On happy note it was a beautiful warm day and Cate got to watch Ben and Abi play at our neighborhood park.
