I typically spend the whole day trying to wake up. I NEED coffee so I don't feel like I'm dragging myself through life (slumped shoulders, limbs like noodles). Lack of sleep has been killing me lately. When I finally start feeling awake it's time to go to bed so wine, melatonin and bed. Repeat.
My favorite things last week (as seen through my tired blood shot eyes and foggy brain)-
Cate loving her bouncer from Aunt Sarah
My fancy chalkboard attempt, pretty ok? right?
Going through 12 month clothes from my sister (yes 12 month clothes for my 5 month old) and was over joyed to find a coat my mom bought for Abi and a dress Nana gave Abi, and many other cute things that remind me of Abi being a baby. I'm not a stuff person, so I don't keep a lot of things but it was precious to stumble upon these reminders of people we miss so much.
My favorite bald heads (Dr. evil and mini-me)
This face, makes it all worth it
Not sure about this mum mum, mom.
My birthday was yesterday and I had a perfect day of sleeping in and going to the gym. Yes, doesn't take much to make my day great. Mostly just getting sleep makes life a whole lot better. I got a fit bit from Brad and I'm super excited to boast about how many steps I take everyday. Now when I can say I'm tired I have hard facts to prove it. Today for example I've walked almost 5.5 miles, walked up 32 flights of stairs (without going to the gym) and the day isn't over yet, sooooooo I think it's your turn to change baby's diaper while I rest. See how awesome this will be? It also logs how much you sleep, which will be depressing but can also be used as leverage. I think Brad is rethinking his gift, ha :) :)
My sleeping sweeties, they are the sweetest when they sleep ;)
